DAILY WORDS OF HOPE
BY PCG, HOPE CONGREGATION – SAK. EST.
SAT. 10.11.18

TODAY’S VERSE:
The LORD is my shepherd, I lack nothing. Psalm 23:1

THEME: THE LORD IS MY SHEPHERD

WORDS OF HOPE:
The needs and wants of humankind are insatiable, as man always craves for wants in life. In Haggai 2:8, the Lord made it conspicuous that all man`s wants are with Him and He is the source of both the silver and gold. This means that children of God are blessed because they will lack nothing. Our Father is the richest being in the universe. When school reopens, all parents know that aside paying fees, their wards require some additional monies “for their pockets”. However, parents will still expect their wards to put in the request and be specific of the exact amount needed. Like parents, God is all-knowing, but He still expects us to present our petitions in prayer through His word. Many times, we do not receive because we do not ask from the giver. God Almighty is the giver of all that we require or want. He only expects us to petition Him in prayer and make Him aware of our specific needs and wants. Never worry yourself to search for men of God, when the God of men is by your side. The Lord is our shepherd, and we will not be in want.

PRAYER POINTS:
• Ask the Lord to be your shepherd
• Pray to surrender your all to the Lord
• Pray for goodness and mercy to follow you all the days of your life

PRAYER:
Lord Jesus thank you for making me your son, and for the opportunity to ask you for all I need or want in life. I humbly request that you guide my steps in order to make demands according to your will. Grant me the grace to always seek you ahead of all men.
Amen! 🙏🏽
