The congregation under the leadership of Rev. Erasmus N. B. Odonkor, between 2001 and 2002 felt the need to establish a Boys and Girls Brigade. Session therefore put together a team, notable among them was Mrs. Elizabeth Amoyaw Osei (then a session member) to begin a series of training leading to the very first enrolment service.
The training was conducted by a team of Officers from the Tema Volta Region of the Boys Brigade (Among them were Mr. Daniel Yeboah, Officer Martin Gyimah and Officer Otu Masi) as well Girls’ Officers from the Regional Office assisted by officers from the 13th Tema Company (Mt. Zion Methodist Church) all helped in nurturing of the company until our very 1st enrolment on January 15, 2002

Currently there is an enrollment of about 150 boys and girls with and Officers enrollment of 18 Boys and 16 Girls.
AIM and MISSION
It is the advancement of Christ Kingdom among Boys and the promotion of habits of Obedience, Reverence, Discipline, Self respect and all that tends a through Christian Manliness ( Heb 6:19).
To seek, Serve and to follow Christ
The slogan/greetings of the Boys Brigade is: BB and the response is Sure and Steadfast whilst for the Girls Brigade is: GB and the response is Follow Christ
GOALS OF THE COMPANY
•To forestall discipline among youth in the church
•To nurture the kids on the need to righteous in their daily activities through Bible studies
•To promote the habit of Obedience, Reverence and self respect among one another.
PROGRAMMES and ACTIVITIES
The company meeting times is Sundays from 4:00 to 5:30 pm and from 5:30 to 6:30pm. The activities are based on the four sided programme of the Boys Brigade which is educational, spiritual, physical and social. We also meet on Saturdays for drums and horns practice.
The company is also represented at Workshops, Seminars and Conferences at different levels within the church, district and national council meetings.
