DAILY WORDS OF HOPE

TODAY’S VERSE:
All the people in the synagogue were furious when they heard this. They got up, drove him out of the town, and took him to the brow of the hill on which the town was built, in order to throw him off the cliff. But he walked right through the crowd and went on his way. Luke 4:28-30

THEME: GOD’S SUPERNATURAL SAFETY

WORDS OF HOPE:
Jesus was a tremendous example of someone who prayed and then walked in his father’s protection. If there was ever one individual in the world that the devil wanted to take out early then it was Jesus. Satan did everything he could to try to kill Jesus from the time he was born and he never stopped trying until after the crucifixion. At the very beginning of Jesus’ ministry, as he began to preach and teach the gospel, Satan incited the crowd to try to kill him. Jesus walked right through the crowd to safety. It appeared all his enemies became suddenly blind or he disappeared from their sight. As we read through the gospels we see how he had God’s supernatural protection again and again. I believe God can and will protect us in the same way he protected Jesus, but we have a part to play. We must pray.

PRAYER POINTS:
● Thank God for his safety in our lives.
● Holy Spirit renew our thirst for spiritual growth.
● Almighty Father may you hide us under your shadow of protection and preservation.

PRAYER:
Lord let your supernatural hand be with us in the name of Jesus. Amen 🙏🏽
