THEME: YOUR STEP TO SALVATION
WORDS OF HOPE:
You ask what I have to do to find salvation.
First, you must repent of your sins, the word REPENT is to change: change your mind, change your lifestyle. You are going in one direction; you turn and go in another.
You cannot repent by yourself, God has to help you to repent and He will help you to do so, but you need to be willing. You need to say, ‘‘Lord I want to repent from my old ways but I cannot do it on my own, you will have to help me to change’’.
Second you must believe. BELIEVE means that you must rest totally on God and God alone. You are not trusting on your family to save you, you are not trusting your husband or wife to save you, you are not trusting the church to save you. You are trusting Jesus Christ and Jesus Christ alone to save. All you need to do is to put your total weight and trust on Jesus Christ.
Finally, you must confess Jesus Christ openly (Romans 10:9). That is how you come to Jesus Christ. You must REPENT, you must BELIEVE and you must CONFESS Jesus Christ as your lord. Amen
PRAYER POINTS:
• Father we thank you for our salvation in you.
• Lord help us to repent from our sins to follow you.
• Jesus Christ may we repent, believe and openly confess you as Lord.
PRAYER:
Lord may we repent from our old ways and take up the cross to follow you all the days of our lives in Jesus’ name, Amen 🙏🏽
