DAILY WORDS OF HOPE
BY PCG, HOPE CONGREGATION – SAK. EST.
Let Israel rejoice in their Maker; let the people of Zion be glad in their King.
Let them praise his name with dancing and make music to him with tumbrel and harp. Psalm 149:2-3 (NIV)
THEME: BE GLAD IN GOD
WORDS OF HOPE:
Have heart O believer, take care that your gladness has its spring in the Lord. Every attribute of God should become a fresh ray in the sunlight of your gladness in God. This gladness in God is as a deep river; we have only as yet touched its brink, we know a little of its clear sweet and its heavenly streams, but onward the depth is greater and the current more impetuous in its joy. The Christian feels that he may delight himself not only in what God is but also in all that God has done in the past. The Psalms show us that God’s people in the olden days were not to think much of God’s actions but to have a song concerning each of them. So let God’s people now rehearse the deeds of the Lord for he has triumphed gloriously with us. Be glad you children of Zion and rejoice in the Lord your God.
· Thank the Lord for the power of gladness in Jesus Christ.
· Pray that the joy of the Lord would be your strength.
· Pray that you would rejoice in the victory of the Lord.
Lord May we be glad and rejoice in you all the days of our lives. Amen 🙏🏽
