WORDS OF HOPE:
One of my drivers arrived on one Monday morning as usual to move the bus to pick up workers for work only to realize the battery had been removed. He had left one of the windows open and the burglar took advantage of the negligence. The cost of the battery was worth half his salary for the month. Few minutes of due diligence would have saved him half of his salary for the month. For our souls however, negligence in this brief life could cost us the whole of the bliss in eternity. We ought to be as watchful as if we knew that Christ would come today; because, although we do not know when he will come, we do know that He will come at any moment. This will not make us neglect our daily calling; on the contrary, we shall be all the more diligent in attending to our earthly duties because our hearts are at rest about our heavenly treasures.
