THEME: THE BLOOD IS FOR OUR GOOD
WORDS OF HOPE:
As if he is seeing far into the future to the cross on Calvary, Zechariah gives the promise of salvation through the blood of our dying savior. We sometimes become squeamish about the language of the blood. Blood means violence and even death. But to us the blood means life. Blood carries food to the cells of our bodies and gives us oxygen and carries away poisonous carbon dioxide. To say that the Lord shed his blood for the sins of the world is to say he gave his life and that is the most glorious language in the Christian vocabulary. Jesus said that no greater love exists than someone who lays down his life for a friend. Then Jesus did the extraordinary. He made us all his friends all because he died for us all. Through his death we are free from the pits of sin and death, and free to live with him forevermore.
PRAYER POINTS:
· Thank God for the power of the blood
· Lord may the blood speak on our behalf
· Lord may we daily walk in the power of the blood

Thank you Lord for shedding your blood for our salvation. Amen 🙏🏽
