THEME: PATIENCE IN THE MIDST OF TRIALS
WORDS OF HOPE:
Perhaps the scarcest word in the dictionary of many Christians is “Patience”, and lack of that exposes us when it comes to testing our faith. Patience was echoed as integral in the fruit of the Spirit in Galatians 5:22. On one humid night few years ago, when I was escorting my fiancée home, there was an unpleasant experience on the journey. At a bus stop, the driver`s mate got involved in a scuffle with a bystander. Incensed by this, the driver hurriedly hopped off his seat to take over the fight, disregarding pieces of advice from elderly passengers. Sadly he only returned to his car with half of his nose and bleeding profusely. A horrifying experience indeed due to lack of patience. God knows very well that, in this world we will face trials of different forms, but He vividly asked us to consider it pure joy. It does not matter the challenges or troubles that afflict us, we are assured of God`s promises. Jesus said in Matthew 28:20 that, He is with us always even until the end of time.
PRAYER TOPICS:
• Ask the Lord to help you build patience in your walk with Him and others.
• Ask the Lord to help you exercise patience and stand firm in your trials.
PRAYER:
Dear Lord, grant me grace to develop patience at all times in spite of the many troubles that confront me. Help me to stay focus and totally depend on your strength and guidance to enable me run the race of life. Amen! 🙏🏽
