WORDS OF HOPE:
Another source of blessing is the one whose delight is in the law of the Lord and his or her focus is on the meditation of the word of God. God expects us to school ourselves in the word of God. Unfortunately, for some of us, our knowledge of the bible is embarrassingly limited. The Psalmist employs us to meditate on the word daily. Andrew Murray defines meditation as holding the word of God in your mind until it affects every area of your life. Is your whole life affected by the word of God? How often do you think about the word of God? Note that as a believer, you won’t grow by means of activity; you will grow based on how you spend time to search and understand the hidden things in the word of God. Your knowledge of God’s word will open greater doors in your life so focus on His word. Joyce Meyer notes that, “if you don’t spend time with God, nothing is going to work in your life”.
PRAYER TOPICS:
· Pray that you will cultivate a habit of meditating on the word of God.
· Pray that nothing will destruct your conversation with the Lord.
· Pray that your whole life will be affected by the word of God.
PRAYER:
I pray that every aspect of your life will receive direction from the word of God in the name of Jesus. Amen 🙏🏽
