I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. Philippians 3:14
THEME: KEEP YOUR EYE ON THE GOAL
WORDS OF HOPE:
Paul tells us that he must always keep his eyes on the prize. It is like the Olympic athlete who trains tirelessly for a gold medal at the Olympics. When they get tired, they imagine what it will be like to stand on the platform and hear the National Anthem of their country being played. That picture spurs them on. To keep your eye on the goal, you must cultivate the habit of determination, dedication, discipline and attitude. Ponder on these words as you go through the day. Check whether these words are present with you in your walk with the Lord. Do you know the value of the price you will receive in your walk with the Lord? Think about these:
● the image of standing before the Father to hear “Well Done!” from Him
● to be in His presence forever where there is no sickness, tears or any form of want.
● the joy of seeing Jesus in person as He has promised
PRAYER TOPICS:
· Pray for assistance to keep your eye on the goal.
· Pray that you will be focused on the reward
· Pray that you will receive a well-done notification when you are invited home.
PRAYER:
I pray in the name of Jesus that God will cause you to keep your focus on the goal in the name of Jesus. Amen 🙏🏽
