TODAY’S VERSE:
As Pharaoh approached, the Israelites looked up, and there were the Egyptians, marching after them. They were terrified and cried out to the LORD… Moses answered the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand firm … The Egyptians you see today you will never see again. The LORD will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Exodus 14:10-14

THEME: GOD WILL ALWAYS MAKE A WAY

WORDS OF HOPE:
The story of Exodus is a testimony to Christians today about the power of God to defeat oppressors and deliver the oppressed. It is also about setting the captives free and indicates the special love God has for Israel. The Israelites feared greatly in the situation especially when they saw the Egyptians marching after them and the Red Sea in front of them, but our God came to their rescue. Listen to this, if the Israelites did not see the Egyptians coming after them, would they have stepped into the sea at Moses’s command? No, I do not think so. In life, the bigger your problem, the more daring in your act of faith! We are faced with problems, trials and challenges ranging from sicknesses, marital problems, unemployment situations and so on. Don’t look at the issue with your physical eyes but focus on God who makes a way where there seems to be no way. Remember what Moses said in verse 13 and 14; The Egyptians you see today, you will never see them again.
