THEME: OVERCOMING THE WORLD – LIVE BY FAITH
WORDS OF HOPE:
We learnt from our previous study that the world chokes God’s word in our lives and makes it difficult for the Christian to succeed. This is the reason why many Christians struggle to live God’s ordained life for them and to be successful at it.
God however did not intend for you to struggle in the world. From the beginning when God created man, God gave man the authority to rule over the world. Man lost this authority to Satan in the garden, but thanks be to God, Christ Jesus gave up His life to restore us to this lost dominion and even more. This is what we get when we believe in Jesus.
By believing in Jesus, it gave us treasures and one such treasure is our faith. Faith is the substance or assurance of the things you hope for as well as the proof of unseen realities (Hebrews 11:1). Therefore, your faith is the driving force behind your hopes and expectations coming to pass. To wit, it is not enough to have expectations; you must have faith to actualise your expectations or you will be very frustrated. The good news is, all Christians have a measure of faith according to Romans 12:3; the challenge is, not all Christians use their faith.
How do we exercise our faith? 2 Corinthians 4:13 gives us a clue. It teaches that we must speak what we believe. The healing you believe, speak it; speak your success; speak your turnaround. Start speaking what you believe now!
You give substance to what you believe in by speaking. This is our faith and it is the victory that overcomes the world. Hallelujah!
PRAYER TOPICS:
• Praise God for the seed of faith in your spirit.
• Declare that your faith will not be dormant but vibrant, and achieve great results for you in all things.
PRAYER:
I declare that it is well with my soul for I am like the tree planted by the waters. I bear my fruits in my season, and everything I do shall prosper in Jesus’ name. Amen
