DAILY WORDS OF HOPE

TODAY’S VERSE: 1 CORINTHIANS 1:30

THEME: THE WINSOME CHRIST MINDSET; CHRIST JESUS IS OUR SANCTIFICATION

WORDS OF HOPE:
Another victorious truth we need to live by, a consciousness we need to possess is Christ Jesus as our Sanctification.
Sanctification is from the Greek word hagiasmós. It means to be made holy, pure, consecrated. Many of God’s children sadly see themselves as good for nothing, not worthy because of their backgrounds. Some even are not able to forgive themselves of errors or mistakes made after they had believed. It is difficult for them to accept God’s righteousness, much more this glorious gift of sanctification. All they see is their blemish, their weaknesses, their mistakes.
This is a very sore state and should not be countenanced.
In 1st Thessalonians 5:23, Paul reveals a dynamite of a revelation and it reads:
“And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
This means Christ Jesus as our sanctification involves the Holy Spirit eliminating blemish from our spirits, souls and bodies. He does this cleansing wholly i.e. through and through. It is not a one-time event; it’s a continuous process of constant sanctification. By this cleansing, depression and dullness, which resides in the soul is ejected, hallelujah! Similarly, if there is pain or any chronic condition in your body and/or blood, by this work, you are rendered wholesome – wholly cleared. O my God! What a life we have been brought in.
These were the contemplations of Jesus that is why He was never accounted for as sick or unwell. Praise the LORD! Even now begin to declare: “I am sanctified – cleansed of every blemish and shortcoming and defect. My spirit is whole. My soul is whole and my body is equally whole in Jesus’ name, I am kept blameless in them all, Hallelujah! Amen.”

PRAYER TOPICS:
• Bless the LORD for His sanctifying work in your life; marriage and relationships.
• Declare that all these relationships and endeavours are cleansed from contaminations, shortcomings and defects in Jesus’ name.

PRAYER:
Blessed Holy Spirit, I acknowledge your sanctifying work in all of my life. I am whole in spirit, soul and body in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen
