THEME: THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH
WORDS OF HOPE:
All over the world, people are seeking the truth about everything so that they can have peaceful and meaningful lives. In their quest to find the truth, they ask several questions about life, occurrences, experiences and resort to diverse sources of “truth” which has made many find themselves in trouble.
There is freedom in having to know the truth that comes from Jesus Christ. He says, “And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free” John 8:32.
The quest for another truth made Adam and Eve fall into sin in the garden of Eden when they were deceived by the father of lies (Satan) by eating the forbidden fruit. Man has therefore continued to seek the truth since the fall of Adam and Eve. Beloved, there is good news for you. The truth can only be found in Jesus Christ (John 14:6). The revelation of the truth is made manifest to the believer after he/she has been saved and it is the Holy Spirit who opens our eyes to see and to know the will of God. The Holy Spirit is our helper in knowing, following and living a truthful life in Christ. Don’t depend on your own understanding and strength. For by them, you will fall prey to the tricks of the devil and fail.
God has given us His Spirit to guide, teach and lead us in all truth and we need to consciously acknowledge His presence in our lives and live a life of truth. As a Christian, the Spirit of truth is in you, depend on Him and have fellowship with Him.
PRAYER TOPICS:
• Pray that the Father will guide you into all truth now and always
• Pray that God will keep you from the tricks of the enemy in Jesus name.
• Pray that the Lord will guide the Church in seeking the truth always and not turn from it.
PRAYER:
Heavenly Father, thank you for manifesting your truth through me and making me to see the light of your glory. Amen!
