THEME: GUIDANCE THROUGH THE HOLY SPIRIT
WORDS OF HOPE:
Daily we are faced with many different decisions and choices to make. At times, we reach life’s journey when we don’t know what to do or which direction to take. The good thing is that, the indwelling Spirit at work in us guides us into all truth. (John 16:13).
The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of truth and He guides us to discern between truth and falsehood, wisdom and foolishness. We (believers) need to acknowledge and be sensitive to His promptings and yield to His leading. He is a gentle Holy Spirit, who will not control you but guide you to choose.
The Holy Spirit lives in us and God speaks to us through His Spirit in us hence we hear Him guide us to the right direction and into the right action to take.
Allow the Holy Spirit to lead and guide your life’s decisions and guide them in the will of God. He is God and knows the will of God for your life because He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears (from God), He will speak. Beloved, whatever the Holy Spirit speaks is directly from God and will lead us into safety. Be led by the Holy Spirit as a child of God for He is a trustworthy guide and a good leader and mouthpiece of God to us.
PRAYER TOPICS:
• Thank God for His continuous guidance in your life through the Spirit
• Ask for God’s continuous guidance in your life’s decisions and journeys
• Pray for a listening heart and renewed mind to yield to the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
PRAYER:
Dear Lord, please grant me a listening heart and a renewed mind to daily yield to the Holy Spirit’s guidance in Jesus name. Amen
