THEME: HAVE YOU RECEIVED THE HOLY SPIRIT?
WORDS OF HOPE:
Many have wondered if they truly have the Holy Spirit in them. This is because; they did not have a spectacular experience at repentance (when they first gave themselves to Christ) or they don’t speak in tongues or prophesy like others do. The question has been; “Is there any particular experience if someone receives the Holy Spirit?”
Beloved the Holy Spirit is given to all believers (Gal. 4:6, 3:2). Paul declares, ‘… having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption…’ (Eph. 1:13-14). Beloved have you truly received and believed Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour and yielded your life to Him?
Believe that Jesus Christ lives in you and His Spirit also lives in you. He will help you to live in obedience to God, fellowship with Him and boldly declare His works in you. Remember, the Holy Spirit is a gift but not a reward from service.
PRAYER TOPICS:
• Thank God for the gift of the Holy Spirit
• Pray to God, for the daily consciousness and the faith of the presence of the Holy Spirit in you.
• Pray that you will boldly declare the name of God in your life
PRAYER:
Heavenly Father, I pray that you’ll help me to boldly declare your name and works in me in Jesus’ name Amen!
