Hope Congregation host launch of Ga Presbytery Men’s Fellowship 40th anniversary

The Sakumono-Estates Hope Congregation of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana on Sunday, May 5, 2019 hosted the launch of the 40th anniversary of the Men’s Fellowship in the Ga Presbytery with a church service.

The event saw members of the fellowship from various congregation adorned in the group’s uniform participating.

The Sakumono District Minister of the PCG, Rev Emmanuel Obeng Ntow who launched the anniversary noted that 40 years is a remarkable achievement and urged members to celebrate in grand style. The theme for the 40th anniversary is, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations. Men will go with the WORD”

Activities earmarked for the celebration include a quiz competition scheduled for May 29, 2019 to be hosted by the Resurrection Congregation, Accra Central. This will be followed by evangelism activities in the month of July to August in the various zones and districts. On September 14, 2019, the Fellowship will embark on a donation event as part of its social responsibility. This will be followed by a breakfast meeting on October 26, 2019 to be hosted by the Hope Congregation, Sakumono-Estates.

The Ga Presbytery Men’s Fellowship 40th anniversary will be climaxed with a thanksgiving and awards church service on November 7, 2019 to be hosted by the Hope Congregation, Sakumono-Estates. Rev Obeng Ntow urged all men in the church to take active part in the activities of the fellowship and make time for the Lord’s duties.
