This year’s Children’s Week celebration of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Hope Congregation, Sakumono Estates has been launched. The theme for this year’s celebration is “Let the Earth Hear – The Child a Witness for Christ”
Launching the weeklong celebration, the District Minister, Rev. Emmanuel Obeng Ntow underscored the importance of raising children in a positive Christ centered atmosphere and appealed to parents to bring their children to church each day of the week to listen to the word of God.
He emphasised that the week is for the children, therefore ask parents to support their wards and guide them in the right direction in hopes that when they are older they will not turn from the word of God.
Children’s Day is a day recognised on the Church’s calendar to celebrate children. As part of the unveiling of the week, selected children from the Children Ministry performed a skit to highlight the activities lined up for the week.
