The Hope Congregation of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Sakumono-Estates under the auspices of the District Minister, Rev Emmanuel Obeng Ntow on Sunday, 18th December, 2016 held a Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols at all three services of the congregation.
The Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols is a Christian Worship celebration to remember the birth of Jesus Christ and herald the celebration of the Christmas festivities.
In attendance was the Church Choir and the Children Service Choir who treated congregants Christmas songs, hymns and anthems. The service was interspersed with scriptural readings by selected congregants to glorify God for his protection over the years.
Rev. Mrs. Sylvia Ofori Amoako Dzathor in her exhortation urged Ghanaians to count on the hope, peace, love and joy which is bring offered by Jesus Christ, this season. She reminded Christians of the second coming of Christ, this time, not in this joyous mood but as a judge to presided over the deeds of Christians hence Christians must be ready to mend their ways and prepare to meet their maker.
