Rev. Frederick Kotey Ashaley was on Sunday January 28, 2018 introduced as a third Minister of the Hope Congregation of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana Sakumono-Estates.
Rev. Ashaley, who is 35 years old and a graduate of the University of Ghana and the Trinity Theological Seminary, replaces Rev. Andrew Shardow who has been posted to the Osu Ebenezer Congregation.
The introduction service was graced by the members of the District Session, Spouses of Ministers, as well as Directors of various committees in the church. Rev. Emmanuel Obeng Ntow performed the induction ceremony and counselled Rev. Ashaley to work hard to advance the kingdom of God in the congregation and to ensure that the Presbyterian Church grows from strength to strength. He further appealed to the members of the church to offer the needed support and cooperation to Rev. Ashaley in the discharge of his duties.
In his address after his introducton, Rev. Ashaley expressed gratitude to the District Minister, Ministerial Team and members of the church for the support, guidance and encouragement since he assumed duty in the latter part of 2017. He appealed to all members of the congregation to join hands with him to work to enhance the church and glorify God.
Rev. Ashaley and his family were presented with gifts as a sign of welcoming him into the congregation by the various generational and service groups.
PROFILE OF REV. FREDERICK KOTEY ASHALEY
Rev. Frederick Kotey Ashaley was born on December 9, 1982 to Mr. Ebenezer Oko Ashaley and Paulina Darko Doduwaa. He attended Teshie Presbyterian Secondary School and proceeded to the University of Ghana for his first and second degrees. From there, he enrolled at the Trinity Theological Seminary. He worked at Morning Star International High School as an Administrator and Accra Polytechnic and Data Link University College.
He is married to Mrs. Florence Ewurakua Ashaley, who is an Accountant. They are blessed with a son.
