Sakumono Estates PCG holds annual graduation Sunday Service

We are a church that belives in Jesus christ and the followers and We are a church that belives in Jesus christ

A church service was held on Sunday, September 23, 2018 at the Hope Congregation of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Sakumono-Estates morning to honour and recognize recent graduates to the various generational groups.

54 members of the Children’s Service graduated to the Junior Y, 16 Young Peoples Guild members progressed to the Young Adults Fellowship while 31 YAF members were graduated to the Men’s and Women’s Fellowship.

The graduands were presented with certificates and handed over to the executives of the respective graduating class. The purpose of the service is to inspire a younger generation of leaders to value and pursue a higher service in the Lord’s vineyard.

The graduation service is a church tradition, that has taken place over the years. It brings inspiration to everyone in the church to render service in his or her generational group and ultimately serve God.

Preaching the sermon on the theme: “Greatness in service”, Mr Solomon Buenor Adi tasked the graduands to allow themselves to be used by God to share the gospel. “It doesn’t matter your age, gender, ethnicity, God can use you as a symbol of responsibility.”

He said just as God used the likes of Samuel and David in their youthful ages, Christians should not feel too young to be used by God to spread the gospel and urged the graduands to avail themselves for service.

Second Minister of the Hope Congregation, Rev. Frederick Kotey Ashaley superintended over the graduation service and entreated the various generational group members to avail themselves for service in the church.
