Passage: Isaiah 1:16-20, Luke 19:1-10

The importance of acknowledging the Presence of God cannot be undermined. As Christians when we acknowledge God, we establishes an agreement between ourselves and God. God's part of the agreement is to love us while our part of the agreement is to obey him unconditionally.

When Zacchaeus acknowledge the presence of Jesus he got convicted of his deeds from our reading in Luke 19: 1- 10. After he was convicted he decided to give half of his property to the poor and pay back to anyone he has cheated 4 times as much. When we acknowledge God we are convicted of our actions, our response to these actions results in our Salvation.

Like Jesus said to Zacchaeus, today salvation has come to you after he responded with a change of heart from his conviction. Zacchaeus climbed a tree, in order to acknowledge the presence of Jesus, amidst a large crowd. As a result he was convicted, he repented and his house was saved.

Acknowledge the presence of God in your life today.
