Preacher:
Passage: Rev. 21:1-5

The Lord promises a new heaven and a new earth by the revelation to John on the island of Patmos.

1. What did John see?
A new Heaven and a new earth, signifying a new spiritual revival and a physical revival, where we will hear from heaven and our mortal bodies will receive healing. John saw that the sea was no more, signifying that the roaring waves of our lives will become stable. John saw the Holy city of Jerusalem. The true wealth of God, changing us from the village, hamlet, town to a city.  Again He saw a bride prepared for her husband. The beauty, favour and glory of a bride will be our portion.

2. What did John hear?
The Tarbenacle (dwelling place) of God is with men. Through Jesus, God will abide with humankind.
If the dwelling place of God is with men then we will experience the very presence of God in our lives.

3. What will God do?
He will make all things new, by restoring to us all that has been stolen from us or eaten by the caterpillar or locusts. God will take away, death, mourning, crying, pain, tears from us. This is the very heavenly experience we so desire to have. If we experience these in our lives then heaven has come to us. God will take the former things away. A new life, a changed life, a restored life is the promise of God to us

Jesus calls us to a new life where He himself will dwell with us. Free from the sinful controls of this world. This promise is true and trustworthy. We should not doubt the promises for he is faithful and will make sure it comes to pass.

May we experience newness of life in every area of our lives, be it Spiritual, Physical, Financial, Social, Family life.
As a Church may newness come to us because Behold God is making all thins NEW.

Amen
