Passage: Micah 5:2-5, Hebrew 10:5-10, Luke 1: 39- 55

The book of Matthew to Luke was written based on faith. It takes faith to walk with the Lord and without it, it is impossible to please God.

In Luke 1:31-34, Mary was a virgin but hearing the prophecy, she said “let it be to me according to your word”. Mary cooperated with God by faith. Our walk with God must be based on faith. Living by faith does not mean you will have things easy but without it, it would be impossible to please God.

There are times where your faith will be tested. There are times when you will be accused wrongly. Without faith, you may be forced to resort to other gods. Our participation and contribution in church activities also takes faith. It takes faith to make sacrifices. We give our treasures to expand God's Kingdom. It takes faith to responds to God's call and help the church to grow.

The sacrifices we continue to make to build this church could have been used for other things but as believers, we participate in every activity because we want the kingdom of God to be expanded. It takes faith to leave your home to come to church and participate in church activities.

As Christians, we are being called upon to cooperate with God, conceive what we have in our womb via ideas to bless the church.

The child Mary was carrying was to bring fulfillment of the scripture as recorded in Micah 5:2. We must recognize Christ as the chosen one. The fruit of Mary's womb brought us salvation. It also brings hope to the world, humankind and our country.

Because of the fruit of Mary's womb, there is hope. As Christians, we must not give up on this nation called Ghana. Ghana will not go down forever. Our nation needs our prayers and blessings. We must let our discussions with each other bring HOPE

Because  Jesus  lives, it will be well with us, our family, our nation. In spite of the challenges, anxiety, fear, you can face tomorrow.  May we be blessed with new hope every day.

As we build our faith, may the blessings of Christ must be ours (Isaiah 11:1 -4). May we turn to the Lord in every circumstance of our lives. Our experience in God must strengthen our faith in him.
