Service Type:

INTRODUCTION.

Many believe that witnessing is for selected people, but all believers are priests of the Lord and are called upon to witness.

Believers are to read God’s word, understand, confess our sins directly to God and minister to others. We should let the world know about the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. They should be helped to know the need to repent and accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and saviour. The wave of sin threw us onto the shore to die but God sent his son to walk on the beach and to rescue us. If heaven has rejoiced over our rescue, we need to join the ranks to rescue the lost. Christ has given us the Holy Spirit that will empower us to witness. We have also been given the authority to overcome all powers of the evil one.

Therefore we need to take the following actions:

  • Spread the salvation message to all.
  • Our lives should be a living testimony.
  • We should be gracious, courteous and respectful to those we witness to.
  • Make the most of every opportunity to witness. We may face persecution, rejection, discouragement and insults but we should not lose hope. When we see results we should be happy that our names are written in heaven. While we help other people to stand, we should be careful not to fall. We also need to offer diverse assistance to all those who need them.

REWARDS

As we take above actions, our reward is assured. Our names will be written in the book of life.

Those who bring many to Christ will shine like stars. God will bless us and through us, others will be blessed. Our good deeds will be remembered forever and we will have influence and honour.

CONCLUSION.

May the Lord widen our world so that we will be part of His work and also help us to care for others. Amen
