Passage: Colossians 1:15-28, Luke 10:38-42

Simple and complicated choices are examples of choices that we have. Simple choices include food to eat, what to wear among others. Complicated choices can be choosing a career or a life partner. Some of these choices are rights that we enjoy and some we regret them.

Our life here on earth is full of choices. It could be split second choices or later choices (emergency day, week, months and years), but in all, our choices should be timely, needful, knowledgeable and good. In Luke 10:38-42, Martha's choice was destructive and her timing was wrong but Mary had her timing right, found what was needful, acquired knowledge about her choice at Jesus feet and it was a good choice. We have to consider Christ in all our choices by the power of the Holy Spirit.

  • Christ was before all things (v.17)
  • Christ is the very image of God (v.15)
  • Christ is the first born of all creation (v.15)
  • Christ is the creator of all things (v.16)
  • You choosing Christ makes you special
  • Christ redeems and reconciles (v.20)
  • Christ make peace (v.20)

Colossians 10:27 ……God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory

Make a right choice, choose Christ. God bless you!
