Tema West Municipal Assembly Presents Development Plans to Hope Congregation

The Tema West Municipal Assembly has indicated its readiness to partner the churches in its catchment area including the Hope Congregation of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Sakumono Estates in the pursuit of development agenda of the municipality.

The Presiding Member of the Assembly, Mr Kwesi Poku Bosompem gave the assurance when he joined the congregation on Sunday, December 29, 2018 at its Family Sunday and Excellence Awards worship service. According to Mr Bosompem, the Assembly being the government agency in the community would partner the church to among other things provide the necessary social interventions including effective sanitation pogrammes as well as good street lighting to enhance the sanitation and security needs of the of the people.

He said the Assembly was initiating a ‘one household, one bin project’ and urge the congregants who are residents in the area to embrace the programme.

On a personal level, Mr Bosompem said he will support widows and single parents through his annual charity programmes. He presented a token to the Resident Minister, Rev Emmanuel Obeng Ntow in appreciation for his work as the leader of the church. Rev Obeng Ntow in response commended the Presiding Member for the visit and pledged the commitment of the church to support the local government authority in meeting its set objectives.
