Thanksgiving Service held for accident victim

A thanksgiving service for young girl who was involved in an accident while returning home from a church activity. Nine year old Ohemaa Esther Forson, a member of the Children’s Service of the Hope Congregation of the PCG was on her way home from rehearsals at the church premises on January 21, 2018 when she was knocked down by a car at Sakumono Estates.

The accident resulted in her hospitalisation at Korle Bu Teaching Hospital. She felled into coma for about week. Speaking at a brief ceremony to thank the Lord for surviving the traumatic incident, the District Minister, Rev. Emmanuel Obeng Ntow expressed appreciation to God and the congregation for grace and timeless prayer support.

“A doctor told me we had to pray because Esther was in coma for a week” he said adding that Esther amazing recovery is a testament of God’s unfailing love.

“Little Esther is in church today and we’ve offered her a ministerial chair to shame the devil.” he said.
He urge the congregation to continue to bear the little girl in prayer.

The class four pupil of Aristoland Montessori is the second born of her family with two siblings, all boys. She was full of smiles during and after the service and expressed her appreciation to the congregation for the fervent and persistent prayers during her period of ailment.
