Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent. John 17:3
THEME: BENEFIT IN KNOWING GOD
WORDS OF HOPE:
In this life we are uplifted and changed for the better to the extent that we know the living and true God, since we are created in the image of God and cannot in fact really know ourselves until we know God. Jeremiah wrote: let not the wise glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty glory in his might, let not the rich glory in his riches. But let him that glories glory in this that he understands and knows me. God has chosen to reveal himself to us through creation, through history, and through personal experience, where we observe his sovereign hand (Providence), and through the bible, his written revelation to mankind.
PRAYER POINTS:
· Lord we thank you for revealing yourself unto us in your word.
· Jesus may we know you better as we walk with you.
· Lord help us not to glory in the things you have endowed us with.
PRAYER:
Father we give all glory to you for the benefit of knowing you as our Lord. Amen 🙏🏽
