THEME: FORGIVE AND MOVE ON.
WORDS OF HOPE:
Many people view forgiveness as an offshoot of love – a gift given freely to those who have hurt you. Forgiveness, however, may bring enormous benefits to the person who gives that gift, according to recent research. If you can bring yourself to forgive and forget, you are likely to enjoy lower blood pressure, a stronger immune system, and a drop in the stress hormones circulating in your blood, studies suggest. Back pain, stomach problems, and headaches may disappear. “Everyone says forgiveness is a lovely idea until they have something to forgive,” said C.S. Lewis.
But by this parable Jesus implores the necessity of forgiveness and mercy which we can apply in our lives daily. Because God has forgiven us, we are to forgive each other; we have received much grace, we are commanded to give that same grace to others.
Grace is available as you join thousands today to pray saying: “Lord, I let go of … (name them) and I pray that heal my heart and restore the joy of my salvation in Jesus’ Name. Amen.”
