THEME: YOU WERE MADE FOR A PURPOSE
WORDS OF HOPE:
Nothing is purposeless. Everything made by a creator, designer or inventor was made for a purpose. So were you. When God called Jeremiah He made it known to him that He had plans for him before he was ‘formed’. In other words, before Jeremiah’s parents knew each other, God already knew him and had plans for him; plans to make him ‘a prophet to the nations.’ This text teaches us that, like Jeremiah, God made each of us for a purpose. You were made for a purpose. You may not have been created to be ‘a prophet to the nations’ like Jeremiah, nonetheless, you were made for a purpose. You are relevant. You matter. You’ve got a contribution to make to this life. So never think you just add up to the numbers, no! There’s something peculiar the Lord brought you to the earth for. You may not think much of yourself. The devil may have even tricked you into believing that you are nothing. But that’s a lie. You’re something! God created you for a purpose. So live as such. Discover God’s purpose for your life and walk in it. For it is only in doing so that you would have truly lived by the time you exit the world.
PRAYER TOPICS:
· Thank God that He made you for a purpose.
· Pray that God will help you discover the purpose for which He created you.
· Pray that God will enable you fulfil His purpose for your life.
PRAYER:
Dear God, thank You that You made me for a purpose. Please help me like Jeremiah to discover my purpose and walk in it. Amen. 🙏🏽
