He makes me lie down in green pastures; he leads me beside quiet waters. Psalm 23:2
THEME: HE MAKES ME LIE DOWN IN GREEN PASTURES
WORDS OF HOPE:
Sheep have no sense of direction. Without someone to lead them, they will wander and go astray. David mentioned, He makes me lie down in green Pastures. Sheep will not lie down: When there is fear from without; wolves and wild beasts, when there are problems within the fold and when they are hungry. They must be satisfied to lie down. May the Lord cause you to lie down because He will see you through all the challenges you are going through. May the Lord deliver you from all forms of wickedness in the name of Jesus. Not only does he hath green pastures to lead me into, which shows his ability, but he leads me into them, which shows his goodness. He leads me not into pastures that are withered and dry, that would distaste me before I taste them; but he leads me into “green pastures”. David was implying that God will supply all our needs despite the situation we find ourselves. In ordinary circumstances, the shepherd does not feed his flock, except by leading and guiding them where they may gather for themselves; but there are times when it is otherwise. He knows exactly what we need and He knows exactly when we need it and He will surely provide.
PRAYER POINTS:
· Pray for the leading of God at all times
· Ask that God will lead you to green pasture
· Pray that you will receive the goodness of the Lord
PRAYER:
May this God lead you to green pasture in the name of Jesus. AMEN 🙏🏽
