And He said, “Do not lay your hand on the lad, or do anything to him; for now, I know that you fear God, since you have not withheld your son, your only son, from Me”. Genesis 22:12
THEME: STANDING THE TEST OF TIMES
WORDS OF HOPE:
In this chapter, God tested Abraham on His reverence (fear) and love for Him. Abraham had been without a son and God has given him a son at His old age. Beloved, sometimes, the blessings of God in the area of material things turn our hearts from the Giver Himself (God); mostly causing apathy to His work, our commitment and devotion to Him reduces hence we are not able to render our services to and fellowship with Him. The test of life is to draw our attention to God so that we do not fail. Like the rich young man in Luke 18:22-23 leave the “materials” which is resisting your full commitment to God and follow God and it shall be well with you.
PRAYER POINTS:
• Pray for the grace and the empowerment of the Holy Spirit to stand the test of time.
• Pray that you will love the Lord with all your heart, mind, soul and body.
• Pray that you will be conscious of the fear of God in all your dealings.
PRAYERS:
Father in the name of Jesus, I denounce the world and its pleasures and everything that causes me not to revere You. I pray for grace to stand the test of time and bring glory to Your Holy Name by not failing the test of my love and dedication to You in Jesus name I pray with thanksgiving, Amen. 🙏🏽
