Remember Lot’s wife! Luke 17:32

WORDS OF HOPE:
We read from Genesis 19: 26 that Lot’s wife looked back after they were told by the Angel to depart from the destructive land of Sodom and Gomorrah. They had lived their lives there, made wealth, friends, though it was a land full of evil. The life of Sodom and Gomorrah was calling the wife of Lot and she could not afford to leave all the things behind and take unto the new life God was offering in the new land. Beloved, this is what happens to us in our quest to look unto Jesus with the new life in Him. The voice of the past (flesh) keeps calling us and we can only focus by looking unto the cross where our deliverance and salvation is so our glory is manifested. Look unto Jesus and don’t give in to the voice of flesh (old life) calling us unto the old life.
PRAYER TOPICS:
• Pray and ask God to give you grace to forsake and overcome the past life totally and cling to Him alone.
• Pray for strength and grace to live the Christian life and also be filled daily by the Spirit.
• Pray for grace to look continually unto the goal.
PRAYER:
I pray in the name of Jesus and I overcome and silence the voice of the enemy calling me into the life of sin and of the past life. I receive grace not to look back but to look unto Jesus, My savior and Redeemer. I cannot fail nor fall into sin but continuously live the life of holiness and righteousness through Jesus Christ my Lord and Saviour. Amen. 🙏🏽
