THEME: CALMING THE STORMS – THE JESUS FACTOR

WORDS OF HOPE:
One of the greatest miracles on earth is when a man sleeps one day, and wakes up the following day without any contribution to that sleeping process. When you sleep, it`s as though you are dead because you have no hand in all that happens during your sleep but there is an unseen hand of God that takes charge of affairs as long as you are His child. Man wakes up to a new day and sets up his plans for that day but can never determine its outcome. In Mark 4, as the disciples set out to sail to the other side, it was business as usual for them. Little did they know that turbulence had “laid ambush” to pounce and frighten them. They employed all the tactics from years of sailing and fishing experience, but could not overcome the raging storms. The good news however, was that they remembered JESUS was in the boat. They called upon Him and he calmed the storms. The raging storms in your life cannot hold forever as long as you have JESUS in your situation. Call upon Him at all times and He will calm those storms.

PRAYER TOPICS:
• Ask the Lord of the storm to calm every turbulent situation in your life.
• Commit your plans into God’s hands and ask Him to direct your ways.

PRAYER:
Dear Lord Jesus, I need you in my life today. Please see me through every raging storm in my life and grant me rest on all sides. Amen! 🙏🏽
