DAILY WORDS OF HOPE

TODAY’S VERSE:
“Though the fig tree may not blossom, nor fruit be on the vines; Though the labor of the olive may fail, And the fields yield no food; Though the flock may be cut off from the fold, And there be no herd in the stalls. 18 Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation”. Habakkuk 3:17-18.
THEME: A HEART OF WORSHIP
WORDS OF HOPE:
As a farmer, his joy was to see the crops grow well and get a great harvest. God had provided rains at the right time, sun and good weather conditions for a great harvest. It so happened, that on the day of the harvest the labourers went to see the 50 acres maize farm on fire. The investments, the time spent in tilling the land, the resources and all the materials had wasted away. A moment of sorrow for the labourers, the family of the farmer and neighbours but the farmer shows up, lifts his eyes upon the heavens and says, “no matter what happens, You are still God and I will forever worship and praise You. Thank You even in this situation”. Beloved, the farmer appreciated God though all his investments and expectations were cut short. He understood that in all things, he ought to give thanks to God…for He alone knows tomorrow and that all things work together for good to them that love God and are called according to His purpose. We should learn like the Psalmist (David) to bless, thank, praise and worship the name of God no matter the circumstances we are facing, knowing God is gracious and will save. Like Job, his situations did not cause him to curse God but worship Him (Job 1:20, 21). Today let the debt of worship and praise to God remain outstanding no matter the situation.
PRAYER POINTS:
• Pray that God will well up your Spirit daily to worship and praise Him.
• Pray for the grace to worship.
• Pray for a heart of gratitude unto the Lord.
PRAYERS:
Lord, I declare my love for You and my praise and thanksgiving will continually be unto You. In spite of every circumstance I am facing, I choose to praise and worship You knowing that, it will work together for my good. Thank you that I rejoice in You always and I will forever rejoice in the Name of Jesus I pray, Amen. 🙏🏽
