TODAY’S VERSE:
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. Genesis 1:1-3
THEME: THE POWER OF WORDS
WORDS OF HOPE:
After creation, there seem to be a challenge with the earth. The scripture says darkness was over the surface of the earth. In order to deal with such a challenge, God spoke to the situation. How do you see the year ahead of you? Doubts? Fear? Uncertainty? God has done it before and He hasn’t changed. He spoke to bring light to the whole earth, He can speak to your situation also. As a believer, you must know that your words also carry the power to change every situation that you are going through. In the passage, you will notice that God made light by declaration. He has given us the power to continue in His stead. That is why we can pray for healing and other miracles. This year, if your story will change, speak positively over your challenges in the name of Jesus. As you speak so shall it be in the name of Jesus.
PRAYER POINTS:
· Pray that you will always speak positively.
· Ask God that your words will change situations.
· Pray that every darkness in your life will give way.
PRAYER:
Lord, may every darkness in my life receive light in the name of Jesus. May my words create new things in my life. Amen 🙏🏽
