In that region there were shepherds living in the fields, keeping watch over their flock by night. 9 Then an angel of the Lord stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. 10 But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid; for see – I am bringing you good news of great joy for all the people: 11 to you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is the Messiah the Lord – Luke 2:8-11
THEME: EXPECT GOOD NEWS
WORDS OF HOPE:
The angel of the Lord reveals himself to the shepherds to announce to them the birth of the Messiah. They were terrified when they saw the angel but their fear submerged when the angel told them that he was bringing good news that will be a great joy not to them alone but to all people. This is because Christ is the savior of the whole world. Good news always brings great joy to mankind. How will you feel when your phone rings and you are told that your appointment letter is ready, your wife is finally pregnant or that particular kind of sickness has vanished? Expect good news in the name of Jesus.
PRAYER POINTS:
• Pray that the angel of good news will come your way.
• Pray that every character that will prevent your good news be transformed in Jesus name.
• Pray that every good news you expect will surely come your way.
PRAYER:
I pray that Good news will be your portion in the name of Jesus. Receive good news. 🙏🏽
