DAILY WORDS OF HOPE

As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.” Romans 10:11
THEME: TRUST IN GOD
WORDS OF HOPE:
This text in Rom 10:11 is found also in Isaiah 28:16 and Isaiah 49:23b, that is the beauty in continuity of scripture. Paul quoted it to buttress a point that there is a link between the time of Moses and the period of Jesus Christ. The import of the quotation is that there is both mercy and victory for anybody who believes in Christ especially gentiles who are not biological descents of Abraham. To trust in God is to put all hope in Him alone convincingly despite the situation because you surely know that, He will never put you to shame. As you look into the new year, it is important to know where you should put your trust. Sometimes we are tempted to put our trust in human beings who exist today and may be gone tomorrow. In Jeremiah 17:5 we read; This is what the Lord says; “cursed is the one who trust in man, who draws strength from mere flesh and whose heart turns away from the Lord”. In this year, I urge you to put your trust in the Lord and He will never put you to shame.
· Pray that your trust will be in the Lord.
· Pray to focus on God.
· Pray that God will glorify Himself in your life.
As the scripture says, those who trust in the Lord shall never be put to shame. May this scripture materialize in your life in the name of Jesus. Amen 🙏🏽
