DAILY WORDS OF HOPE
BY PCG, HOPE CONGREGATION–SAK. EST

TODAY’S VERSE:
But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank: therefore, he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself. Daniel 1:8 KJV

THEME: MANY LITTLE DECISIONS

WORDS OF HOPE:
Often times a major decision is required to bring about a major transformation. Important as the major decision is, however, it will require the support of many little decisions to result in transformation. We see this principle exemplified in Daniel’s life. He made a very important decision not to defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank; that was the major decision. However, he did not end there. He decided to have prior discussion with the officer in charge of their grooming; this was a minor decision that followed from the first decision. This second decision was, however, very instrumental in helping him achieve his purpose. Many of us have made powerful resolutions for this year. However, none of them will see the light of day if we neglect to make the little everyday decisions that will lend support to the resolutions (major decisions) we have made.

PRAYER POINTS:
· Pray that God will give you the wisdom to know what decisions to make to support the realization of your purpose.
· Pray for the strength, discipline and boldness to make the little decisions He will lead you to make throughout the year.

PRAYER:
Dear Lord, may you give us strength, not only to make great and powerful decisions but also to make the little everyday decisions that will help us achieve your purpose for our lives this year. In Jesus’ name we pray! Amen 🙏🏽
