TODAY’S VERSE:
Abraham took the wood for the burnt offering and placed it on his son Isaac, and he himself carried the fire and the knife. As the two of them went on together, Isaac spoke up and said to his father Abraham, “Father? Yes, my son?” Abraham replied. “The fire and wood are here,” Isaac said, “but where is the lamb for the burnt offering?” Abraham answered, “God himself will provide the lamb for the burnt offering, my son.” And the two of them went on together. Genesis 22: 6 – 8
THEME: THE LORD OUR PROVIDER
WORDS OF HOPE:
Jehovah Jireh is God our provider. Every good thing in life has the Almighty God as the source and He makes provision for His children at all times when we ask Him in faith. In Genesis 22:8, Abraham replied his son Isaac that God Himself will make provision for the sacrifice, when Isaac asked about it. In Genesis 22:13, God provided a lamb to be slaughtered for the offering but it was only after Abraham had been obedient and maintained faith in Him. God`s provision has no limitations and He has in abundance for His children. He only requires that we have Faith in Him completely. It does not matter your level of inadequacy or failures, God`s provision is endless and available as long as we maintain faith in Him in all situations at all times. Jehovah Jireh cares for you.
PRAYER POINTS:
• Pray that you will never run out of God’s provision
• Pray for miracles to show up in your life always
• Pray that the Lord will increase your faith
PRAYER:
Lord Jesus, I thank you for your limitless provision for my life. I ask you this day to let the Holy Spirit empower me to develop Faith in you at all times. I pray that you provide my heart desires and that of my family according to your will in Jesus name.
