DAILY WORDS OF HOPE

TODAY’S VERSE: MARK 13:10-12
THEME: DIVINE ELOQUENCE
WORDS OF HOPE:
Sometimes we are caught up in a situation where we don’t know what to say. In preparing the disciples for the ministry of the gospel, Jesus drew their attention to the fact that it requires presenting the gospel to others. Knowing their backgrounds, many were not schooled and not knowledgeable about the scriptures and interpreting it, Jesus knew they would struggle to preach and teach the gospel like Him in the midst of the learned Scribes and Pharisees. Like the disciples, many Christians have less knowledge of the scriptures and sometimes fear to proclaim the gospel in defending their faith. Jesus assures us (believers) that in preaching the gospel, we have the Holy Spirit within us to help us speak the Word.
His manifestation and works in and through us require preparedness; spending time with Him (fellowship) by reading the Word to know Him and allow Him to operate in us. We have an obligation to preach the Gospel and our reliance on the Holy Spirit is the key to the success in this task.
• Pray for grace not to hinder the move of the Holy Spirit in you
• Pray that through the empowerment of the Holy Spirit, you will declare the gospel with boldness.
• Pray for the sensitivity in the Spirit and speak the right words as directed by the Spirit.
Holy Father, speak through me and use me to transform lives to your glory in Jesus Name. Amen
