DAILY WORDS OF HOPE
BY PCG, HOPE CONGREGATION–SAK. EST
TODAY’S VERSE: MATTHEW 27:62-66
THEME: YOU WILL RISE AGAIN
WORDS OF HOPE:
The Chief Priests and Pharisees remembering what Jesus said, “I will rise again,” went to Pilate for stringent measures to be put in place to prevent Jesus’ resurrection. They sealed the tomb and also placed watchmen to guard the tomb. All these were human measures to prevent a divine declaration.
Many a time, we go through certain situations in life that have been well planned by men just to seek our frustration or downfall. People can do all manner of things against you in order that you will not flourish in your academics, business, marriage, family, neighborhood, at the workplace, etc.
Have you fallen into such a trap before or now? Remember this, “Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.” (Psalm 30:5). Wait on the Lord and remember:
Our God is Almighty. He cannot be limited by humankind. Just as Jesus could not be held captive in the grave, so also will your story be. You will surely rise up again so don’t give up on God. Amen.
• Pray for the grace to hold fast to the promises of God.
• Pray for grace to never give up on God.
• Pray committing every challenge in your life to God.
I declare that I live above every limiting factor in the power of God, in Jesus name. Amen
