DAILY WORDS OF HOPE
BY PCG, HOPE CONGREGATION–SAK. EST
TODAY’S VERSE: MATTHEW 25:14-28
TOPIC: YOU ARE WELL ABLE
WORDS OF HOPE:
Similar to our study yesterday, we see another man going on a journey and entrusting wealth to his servants. Verse 15 reads “…each according to his ability…” This is an example of stewardship. Every believer has been entrusted with a gift according to his/her own ability. Most often, we find believers comparing their gifts to that of others. Always remember you have been given according to your ability. Don’t undervalue the gift you have received or overestimate it because you are well able to put whatever you have received to a profitable use. You have been given that gift because God knows your ability.
How are you using your talents, skills, time, treasures, spiritual gifts, etc? Everyone will one day account for what he/she had received (Rom. 14:12). What remarks do you want? “Well done, good and faithful servant” or “You wicked, lazy servant”? Get up, put whatever that has been entrusted to you to good use; for you are well able.
• Thank God for the gift he has entrusted to you.
• Pray for the grace to put such gifts to profitable use.
• Pray that your life will be in sync with your professions about Christ.
Grant us the grace to be good stewards of whatever that is entrusted to us in Jesus name. Amen
