WORDS OF HOPE:
Everyone needs a teacher to teach and direct them in the acquisition of knowledge. Teachers are therefore a critical part of our daily life especially in gaining knowledge.
As Christians, our great teacher is the Holy Spirit (the invisible teacher). He lives in us and stirs up our desire for God in us and teaches us in the study of the Word of God.
As a new born Christian, a certain woman by name Queenie once said that she opened the Bible (KJV) to read as was directed her by the one who disciple her but couldn’t understand what she read. At this, she lost every desire to read the bible. After a while, Queenie went to God in prayer and afterwards went back to study the Word of God. God opened her understanding and that stirred up her desire for the Word of God and continued reading daily with great insight. The Bible is the Word of God (His breathed) and contains wonderful truth of life, wisdom to guide your life and God reveals these wonderful truths and mysteries to us through the teachings of the Holy Spirit.
Beloved, God wants us to have in-depth knowledge into His Word and He has given us the Holy Spirit to guide us into the knowledge of His Word by teaching us, strengthening us and stirring our appetite to study.
Through the Holy Spirit, God opens our eyes to behold wondrous truth in His Word. It is crucial to develop that habit of praying before studying bible.
PRAYER TOPICS:
• Pray thanking God for His role as a teacher in your life
• Pray for the enlightenment of God’s Word in your life
• Pray to behold wondrous truth in His Word.
PRAYER:
Holy Spirit, I pray that you will teach me the Word of God and open my eyes to behold wondrous things in your Word in Jesus name. Amen
