DAILY WORDS OF HOPE
BY PCG, HOPE CONGREGATION–SAK. EST
TODAY’S VERSE: HEBREWS 10: 23-25
TOPIC: ENCOURAGE ONE ANOTHER
WORDS OF HOPE:
After Paul in his first letter to the Thessalonians made known to the believers how the day of the Lord will be, he admonished them in 1Thes 5:11, “Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.”
Encouragement is an action that everyone needs in times of difficulty. In our scripture reading for today, we were entreated to consider how we can spur one another towards love and good deeds. Believers are to experience needed support in times of difficulty from fellow believers. Unfortunately, we find out that some believers lack these encouragements they are to receive from other believers, therefore, give up the faith along the line.
In verse 25 of Hebrews 10, we are again entreated to encourage one another all the more as we see the Day approaching. We are in the last days and scripture says the love of many shall wax cold. But words of encouragement that one receives from other members of the Christian family will reignite the person’s love again. Let not words
of discouragement proceed out of your mouth but rather words of encouragement.
• Thank God for the knowledge of the end times given us.
• Pray for the grace never to give up.
• Pray that you will be able to encourage other believers to keep their hope and faith alive.
We receive grace to encourage ourselves and others in these end times in Jesus’ name. Amen
