HOPE Congregation holds send off service for Rev. Michel Nuertey

The HOPE Congregation of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Sakumono-Estates, Tema on Sunday August 28, 2016 held a special send-off service for Reverend Michel Nuertey who has completed his Ministerial study at the Trinity Theological Seminary and has been posted to Dadiesoaba in the Brong Ahafo Region to continue his service of God’s ministration.

At the send-off ceremony, Rev. Nuertey was presented with a citation while other congregants presented their gifts to show gratitude and also wish him well in his new task.

In his sermon, Rev Nuertey touched on the need for Christian to be humble if they want God to exalt them in whatever and wherever they find themselves.

Rev Nuertey expressed gratitude to the entire church for the honour done him and his family and asked that church also to remember them in prayers as they went about the sacred duty in God’s ministry.

Rev Nuertey is blessed with a wife, Eunice Nuertey and three children. He completed Trinity Theological Seminary (2013-2015). Before his studies at Trinity Seminary,  he had a BSc in Land Economy (1997-2001). He also holds ACCA PART 2, (2003-2006). He worked with the Great Commission Movement as an Accounts Officer (2007-2009). He also worked as an Accounts Officer at the Hope Congregation (2009-2010) and also with HFC Bank, Operations Section (2010-2012).

He loves reading and scrabble and speaks English, Krobo, Twi and Ga.
