Hope Congregation mark Easter with Church service

We are a church that belives in Jesus christ and the followers and We are a church that belives in Jesus christ

The Church Choir of the Hope Congregation of the Presbyterian Church led congregants on Sunday to commemorate Easter Sunday, the day that marks the resurrection of Jesus Christ. With a packed auditorium with congregants adorned in white to signify victory over death, they sang and danced in praise and glory of the resurrected Jesus.

Rev. Emmanuel Obeng Ntow, the Resident and District Minister in an exhortation said Christ’s Resurrection signified a new life for Christians. He said the resurrection is the cornerstone of the Christian faith adding that “had it not been a reality, there would be no Christian faith”. He described the resurrection as the Bible’s greatest miracle and history’s biggest fact.

Rev Obeng Ntow said Jesus’ resurrection makes the Christian’s own life beyond the grave certain and true emphasizing that the resurrection made it possible for all whose trust is in the Lord live forever.

He urged Christians to meditate on three things even as they observe the day. The first being the fact that Jesus rose bodily from the grave, secondly, when Jesus met the disciples after the resurrection, he met them in a bodily form and lastly, Jesus rose victoriously from the grave.

All these, he said was an indication that Jesus indeed won over death thus made it possible for all Christians to become conquerors.
