We are a church that belives in Jesus christ and the followers and We are a church that belives in Jesus christ

The Hope Congregation of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana ushered in the new year with a packed to the brim church service as congregants sang and praised God for having mercies on them and taking them successfully through another year.

With the church choir, Royals of Hope and Singing Band taking turns and at a point performed a mass song, the worshippers expressed their gratitude to God for showering his goodness and faithfulness on them in the year 2015.

Before the sermon, Rev Sylvia Ofori Amoako led in special prayers in memory of congregants who passed on during the course of 2015.

In his sermon, the Sakumono District Minister of the PCG, Rev. Stephen Nii Lankwei Lawson stressed on the need for Christians and all Ghanaians to rededicate themselves to God in order to enjoy true blessings and prosperity in 2016.

Preaching on the theme, Divine Confession, Rev. Lawson who is also the Resident Minister said success in the new year is not guaranteed by the mode in which people crossed over into the new year, rather it will be guaranteed by the type of confession one posses. He therefore called on Ghanaians not pay lip service as Christians but acquires that confession which comes with many benefits.

Some of these benefits are divine blessings, divine identity, divine establishment, divine immunity and most importantly, divine authority.

The last fifteen minutes of the watch night service was devoted to prayer during which congregants interceded for peace and prosperity for the nation in the New Year.

They also prayed into new and fresh opportunities and blessings. At the stroke of midnight, the entire parking area which hosted the watch night service burst in joyous celebration with hands lifted in praise and worship.
