DAILY WORDS OF HOPE
BY PCG, HOPE CONGREGATION – SAK. EST.
Even though I walk through the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. Psalm 23:4
WORDS OF HOPE:
The phrase ‘shadow of death’ portrays death as a deep shadow or as deep darkness. This image of death compliments the metaphor of the shepherd because the shepherd at times has to lead his flock to feeding grounds across ravines with sharp cliffs. Yet the sheep that follow in the path of the shepherd don’t need to worry about cliffs or predators because the shepherd shall fight them off. Death followed David everywhere. In Keilah, Philistines fled before him. Next David had to run for his own life, (1 Samuel 23:1-29). When God guided David to the throne, he actually walked him through the valley of the shadow of death and God’s hand of deliverance was over him even in the valley of death. His presence in David’s life was more powerful than the ever presented shadow of death. There are certain seasons however where our very existence is threatened. You may have been involved in some difficulty but God who is able will definitely see you through safely.
· Pray for the protection of God from all forms of evil
· Pray to overcome every difficulty in the name of Jesus
· Pray against premature death in the name of Jesus
May the God who is able to do all things protect and guide you from all forms of evil in the name of Jesus. AMEN 🙏🏽
